Nova Festival Hero Rami Davidian Warns Israel Has Not Learned From October 7
Rami Davidian, a prominent hero of the October 7 Nova festival massacre, spoke to 103FM about his rescue efforts and warned that Israel has failed to internalize lessons from the attack.
Rami Davidian, who rescued numerous festival-goers during the October 7 massacre at the Nova music party, recalled the harrowing events in an interview with 103FM on Wednesday.
The Rescue Operation
Davidian described the chaotic scene he encountered when he drove into the danger zone to rescue civilians.
"From my moshav to the party area, I had to drive 7 kilometers through open terrain. At a quarter to seven, I received a phone call from a friend asking me to rescue his friend's son... When I reached the most dangerous areas, I encountered severed fingers, shot people, and white pickup trucks everywhere."
He recounted seeing thousands of young people running in all directions, pleading for help. Davidian detailed how he managed to rescue several individuals, including a young woman who had been captured by terrorists in Gaza.
Critical Reflections
Reflecting on the ongoing security situation, Davidian issued a sharp warning regarding Israel's preparedness.
"As far as I'm concerned, yesterday was October 7. We haven't learned anything, we haven't internalized it, we haven't fixed anything, we haven't done anything to ensure this won't happen again. It will happen again, that's how I see it."
He emphasized that unity and a realistic understanding of threats are essential for national survival.
