Former Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani welcomed the electoral success achieved by Arab factions in the recent Knesset elections, noting that their representation reached 19 seats, the highest figure recorded to date.

Speaking on Wednesday, the former premier stated that this political milestone reinforces hope among Arab citizens within Israel regarding the preservation of their rights, the strengthening of their status, and peaceful coexistence within their homeland.

A significant portion of his statement was dedicated to MK Ahmad Tibi, whom he addressed as his brother. He praised his unwavering commitment, political struggle, and firm determination to secure the rights of the Arab population, while expressing profound admiration for his courage in confronting political detractors.

According to the former Qatari leader, these critics have historically opposed and continue to resist the formation of any influential Palestinian electoral bloc capable of shifting the balance of power within the Knesset, even when operating within the framework of Israeli democratic structures.
