As communities worldwide prepare to mark the anniversary of the October 7 massacre, pro-Palestinian organizations are also planning numerous demonstrations and events globally, according to a recent report published by the Ministry of Diaspora Affairs.

The report indicates that 119 pro-Palestinian protests and events are scheduled around the world near the anniversary date. Australia leads the list with 19 planned events, followed by the United States with 18, Spain with 16, the United Kingdom with 13, Canada with 9, Germany with 7, South Korea and Switzerland with 3 each, and several other nations hosting multiple gatherings.

In Germany, anti-Israel protests are planned in Berlin, Duisburg, Frankfurt, Hanover, and Cologne. Organizers in Duisburg and Cologne have adopted the slogan "It didn't start on October 7." In Berlin, a demonstration titled "Down with Colonialism" is scheduled on the eve of the anniversary, featuring promotional imagery of the tractor breaching the border fence.

In the United Kingdom, authorities have faced challenges regarding planned demonstrations. The London Metropolitan Police attempted to prevent a small protest organized by the London Universities Coalition, citing difficulties in contacting organizers and urging a postponement. A larger demonstration is expected in central London on October 10, with police estimating up to 10,000 participants.

Spain has also seen widespread protests organized by coalitions such as RESCOP, which released statements accusing Israel of genocide while ignoring the October 7 massacre. Similar rallies and events are organized across Italy, where student groups plan to screen films and hold discussions regarding Palestinian resistance movements, drawing widespread condemnation from local authorities.
