First publication: New addition to Ofer Winter's party

Social activist Moshe Har-Zion is joining the "Amcha Yisrael" party led by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter and will be on its list for the Knesset. Har-Zion created and founded the "Artzi" movement to strengthen agriculture, rural towns, and the rural space. The movement works to bolster Israeli agriculture, protect state lands from takeover and agricultural crime, and define agriculture as a national infrastructure.

Moshe is the son of the legendary fighter Meir Har-Zion and currently lives at the Ahuzat Shoshana farm in the Lower Galilee. Har-Zion previously publicly supported the "Derech Eretz" party of Yoaz Hendel and Zvika Hauser.

Moshe Har-Zion stated after joining:

"I am happy to join the "Amcha Yisrael" party led by Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter. Winter represents the values I grew up on and believe in: defeating the enemy and settling our land. I intend to represent the people of the land, agriculture, and the rural space in the party. I believe in the great importance of new forces entering the political field, into positions of influence, especially after October 7. The "Amcha Yisrael" party represents this in the best way."

Meanwhile, the chairman of the "Amcha Yisrael" party, Ofer Winter, visited the Gaza Envelope yesterday. The visit was led by Sigal Kraunik-Atiya, a party member and widow of the Be'eri security coordinator, the late Arik Kraunik, who fell on October 7 in the battle to defend the kibbutz. During the visit, party members toured Kibbutz Be'eri and the Nova site, and held a meeting and discussion with the regional security coordinators.

During the visit, Brig. Gen. (res.) Ofer Winter made a statement:

"It is important that we look at this house behind us that remained a ruin, so that we understand what must not happen. We are talking about emigration and we are talking about a quick victory. These are not slogans. This is what must happen so that the message to everyone is very clear - there are things that cannot be done to us. Is it possible to carry out emigration? Absolutely. It is possible to help them emigrate. They very much want to leave here, we must do it. This is also a message that will pass to everyone - there are things that will not happen."

Winter added:

"The second thing is a quick victory. The fact that today we are holding a lot of service members, and people are already on their 6th-7th round of reserve duty, of hundreds of days of reserve duty - this is a matter that stems from the lack of a quick victory. The IDF's security concept was a quick victory. Release the reservists home! The role of the reservists is to be at work, to develop the economy, to do the real things, not to be in the reserves all their lives. This is our way. We will come to do. What was - will not be."
