Haredi soldiers from the "Maalot Tzur" organization are being integrated as intelligence researchers within the Northern Command and the 146th Division. This initiative is part of the "Reshit Hochma" project, which facilitates the inclusion of Haredi recruits in specialized intelligence and research roles. To support this, a dedicated complex has been established, fully adapted to their lifestyle and specific needs.

Admission to these positions requires a rigorous professional screening process, ensuring that only suitable candidates are assigned. This integration into the division's operational intelligence activity reflects a high level of trust and responsibility.

The "Reshit Hochma" project is unique in its comprehensive support system. As part of their service, soldiers participate in academic studies to acquire a civilian profession, equipping them with tools for their future careers. Following an adapted basic training, they undergo professional intelligence training that meets the IDF's high standards.

The commander of the 146th Division, Brigadier General Beni Aharon, stated:

"We are committed to unity among all parts of the people, even more so after the events of October 7. The very gathering of the Haredi soldiers here is living proof that it is possible and necessary to act differently. Your ability to bring the concept of 'hipucha mistabra' (argumentation from the opposite), alongside a culture of deep discussion and attention to detail, is critical. The combination of the depth of Haredi study with the core of intelligence activity in the IDF is a powerful tool for strengthening the security of the state."

Meanwhile, approximately 40 Haredi soldiers completed an 8-week combat medic course at the Hashmonaim Brigade base this week. The training, which focused on IDF medical doctrine and emergency response, was conducted in an environment fully adapted to the Haredi lifestyle.
