About a day after he went missing, the extensive search for 4-year-old Yuval Kogan from Ashkelon has concluded. The child was found alive and well.
"Friends, in the name of God, we have succeeded; the child has been found alive and well," said Noam Simhi, one of the volunteers who participated in the search, in a video he shared that also featured the 4-year-old boy.
Police Commissioner, Rav-Nitzav Dani Levy, confirmed the discovery shortly thereafter: "The Israel Police reports that 4-year-old Yuval Kogan from Ashkelon, who went missing in the Hofit beach area, has been found alive and well. Searches were conducted over the last two days with the participation of police forces, volunteers, and emergency services. The police thank all those who operated in the field, as well as the public for their vigilance and assistance in the search efforts."
