Missing for over a month: Police request public assistance in locating Larisa Marlemeshtein from Ashdod

The police continue the search for the missing Ashdod resident, Larisa Marlemeshtein.

The Israel Police are searching for 53-year-old Larisa Marlemeshtein, who was last seen in Ashdod on July 15, 2026.

Since receiving the report of her disappearance, officers from the Ashdod station have been working to locate her, carrying out a variety of investigative and operational activities, while utilizing technological means and specialized police units as needed.

As part of the search, extensive area scans were conducted, medical institutions, buildings, and various locations were checked, testimonies were collected, and acquaintances and people from the missing woman's circle were questioned. In addition, the police are assisted by other units and volunteers with the aim of locating her as soon as possible.

In a statement released this morning (Wednesday), the Israel Police confirmed that the search is ongoing:

"Since receiving the report of her disappearance, officers from the Ashdod station have been working to locate her, carrying out a variety of investigative and operational activities, while utilizing technological means and police units as needed."

It was further stated:

"As part of the search, extensive area scans were conducted, medical institutions, buildings, and various locations were checked, testimonies were collected, and acquaintances and people from the missing woman's circle were questioned. In addition, the police are assisted by other units and volunteers with the aim of locating her as soon as possible."
