The Football Leagues Administration published this morning, Friday, the dates for the second round of the Premier League.
After Beitar Jerusalem ended its run in the Conference League qualifiers yesterday, Thursday, its match against Maccabi Netanya was set for Saturday, August 29, at 20:30, and it will be broadcast on Sport 4. This will effectively be Beitar Jerusalem's opening match of the season in the league, after their game against Hapoel Tel Aviv in the opening round was postponed at the request of the Reds, who will face Atalanta in the Conference League playoffs.
As for Hapoel Tel Aviv, their opening match in the league will be the following day, Sunday, August 30, away against Hapoel Haifa. The match will kick off at 20:15 and will be broadcast on Sport 4.
The central match of the second round of the Premier League will take place at Bloomfield Stadium, where Maccabi Tel Aviv will host Maccabi Haifa on Monday, August 31, at 20:30.
As for the champion Hapoel Be'er Sheva, this will also be their first game of the season in the Premier League, and it will take place at the stadium in Rehovot against Hapoel Ramat Gan on Saturday at 20:00 (Sport 3).
