As part of proactive activity by officers of the Jisr az-Zarqa police station against drug trafficking and distribution offenses, the officers conducted a search in a cowshed in the village. During the search, substances suspected to be various types of drugs were located, including crystal and heroin, which according to the police were held in commercial quantities.

Increased enforcement along the coastline
Israel Police increased enforcement activity this past weekend along the coastline in Haifa and Tirat Carmel.
