Aryna Sabalenka continues to face criticism from fans on social media. According to some fans, the Belarusian tennis star spends too much time on lifestyle content, sponsorships, and social media — and too little time training.

The criticism comes at a time when her results on the court are inconsistent. Despite an excellent spring that included victories in Indian Wells and Miami, the world number 1 struggled to reach the late stages of Grand Slam tournaments this summer. She was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the French Open and the round of 16 at Wimbledon, and was subsequently knocked out in the third round of the Canadian tournament.

While her results have changed, her presence on social media remains high. Sabalenka shared photos from vacations in Greece and Mykonos, showcased collaborations with brands like Gucci, and appeared on magazine covers. In addition, she regularly uses TikTok and has started running her own vlog on YouTube.

This has caused some fans to react to the number of bikini photos she posts.

"I really don't know what to say. I'm a fan of yours, and I think you should have had at least 10 Grand Slam titles by now, but you only have four," wrote one commenter on Instagram, adding: "The US Open is about to start and I really hope you win the tournament for the third time, but realistically the chances are low. I don't understand what's happening to you - your career deserves much more."

Another commenter wrote: "No tennis, just a showgirl." Another requested: "More tennis please and less phone."

In an interview with Time magazine, Sabalenka addressed the criticism she receives on social media:

"Sometimes I go to their profile and see how perfect they are. And then I tell myself: 'Bro, fix your life first before you get into other people's lives'."
