Paola Rosenberg, a media personality and the wife of Leon Rosenberg, clashed on Instagram last Sunday with a follower who made disparaging remarks about her eyelids. Applying the principle that "shame should be returned to the sender," Rosenberg shared the comment and the user's name with her 73,000 followers.

"Leon posted a simple couple's photo from a walk after the Sabbath: sunset, the sea, and a quote from Kierkegaard," she describes. "And in the comments, Orli was waiting for me: 'Did you run out of money to fix Paola's upper and lower eyelids? What is this?'"

Rosenberg clarified her stance: "I have been answering haters for years, long before it became a trend on TikTok. Women write to me saying it gives them the courage to stand up for themselves. Healthy boundaries include verbal ones: whoever throws trash in my yard gets it back."

She then addressed the unsolicited opinions many women receive online regarding their bodies: "A mirror facing the bed is not what interferes with a good night's sleep. Focusing on the appearance of other women, however, certainly does."

Rosenberg concluded: "I plan my life ahead, and my face comes with me. For me, growing up is a privilege. I wish for myself and my loved ones that we live long, enjoyable years so that we have time to age gracefully while living a life full of joy."
