Palestinians: "Settlers set fire to structures near the Hebron Hills, 5 wounded"
In Khirbet Tuba in the Masafer Yatta area, reports were received of structures being set on fire, and in the Khallet al-Humus area, it was claimed that settlers clashed with families. The Red Crescent reported that 5 wounded were evacuated from the scene.
Palestinians reported on Wednesday evening that settlers set fire to several structures in Khirbet Tuba in the Masafer Yatta area in the southern Hebron Hills. It was further reported that settlers moved among residents' homes in the Khallet al-Humus area south of Yatta and clashed with families at the scene. The Red Crescent reported that five Palestinians were wounded.
On the night between Monday and Tuesday, Palestinians reported riots by settlers south of Nablus, during which three vehicles were set on fire between the villages of Jalud and Talfit, and residents' homes were attacked. Palestinians claimed they managed to prevent an attempt to set fire to a structure.
The IDF stated: "IDF forces rushed to the area of the village of Jalud in the Samaria Brigade following a report that a number of Israeli citizens arrived at the outskirts of the village and set fire to Palestinian vehicles. They acted to restore order. The forces searched the area for suspects, but did not find them."
Concurrently, it was reported that part of the electricity grid was damaged in the town of Madama, a Palestinian village located south of Nablus. Footage from the scene shows Palestinians attempting to extinguish one of the burning vehicles. In addition, graffiti was sprayed on a structure in the area, addressed to the GOC Central Command Avi Bluth: "Revenge, Avi, go home."
