Ortal Amar Opens Up About Her Finances: "200,000 Shekels Is a Fair Price"
Ahead of the new season of the docu-reality show "Connected" on HOT, TV host Ortal Amar discusses her earnings for the project, her views on money, and the financial dynamic with her partner, Itay Adler.

Just before appearing on screen in the new season of the docu-reality show "Connected" (Mehubarim) on HOT, television host and social media influencer Ortal Amar provided a rare and candid look into her financial life in a special interview with "Pnai Plus" magazine. A central focus of her participation in the show has been the compensation received for the intimate, year-long documentation of her life.
Amar does not shy away from discussing the monetary value of her involvement, framing the exposure as a calculated choice:
"'Connected' involves filming over a year of my life. 200,000 shekels is a perfectly fine price tag. It should have even been a bit more," Amar noted, adding: "People are surprised. Yes, you are selling your personal life voluntarily."
Beyond the earnings from the show, Amar addressed the financial gap between her and her current partner, Itay Adler, a model and bakery worker who is nine years her junior. She stated unequivocally that wealth is not a deciding factor in her choice of a partner:
"If I wanted a rich man, I would have found one. But money is not a metric in my eyes. I look first and foremost at the person."
Despite the public curiosity surrounding their relationship, Amar explained how they manage their financial dynamic in daily life:
"It is clear that a financial gap exists, but I truly believe that in a relationship, finances should not be the primary measure. One day I earn more, and another day Itay earns more. Don't worry, he doesn't let me pay at a restaurant."
