Orel Tsabari halts performances due to medical emergency: "It's a nightmare"
The actor and "Eretz Nehederet" star found himself in the emergency room this morning following a sudden health crisis. Although discharged after testing, he is missing his scheduled performances and has apologized to his audience.
Actor and comedian Orel Tsabari is currently starring in the production "Around the World in 80 Days," written by Yaron Kafkafi and directed by Tzadi Tzarfati. However, Tsabari will be absent from this evening's performances at the Expo complex in Tel Aviv due to a sudden medical emergency.
After being discharged from the hospital following a series of tests, the actor shared the details of his ordeal on Instagram. "Well, I had a nightmare of a morning," he began, sharing a photo from the emergency room. "I was sure it would be a calm morning, that I would finally go for coffee with Sivan after weeks of intense rehearsals... or so I thought," he added with a touch of humor.
"I woke up at 7 a.m. with excruciating pain to the point of writhing; I really couldn't function. I rushed to my family doctor, who sent me to the emergency room. After all the tests and a million painkillers, they found a tiny, one-millimeter kidney stone."
"A nightmare, in short, but after many hours, I'm feeling a bit better," he reassured his concerned followers. He concluded his message with an apology to his fans: "I apologize to everyone who came to the show and found me missing."
As previously reported, Tsabari recently began a weight-loss regimen using "Mounjaro" injections. He shared with his followers that the incident might be related to the medication. "It's a nightmare, really," he wrote.
