YAMAM fighters arrested a 37-year-old wanted man tonight, Monday, in Nablus, on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activity and past membership in the "Lion's Den" organization. The suspect has been transferred to the Shin Bet for interrogation.
The arrest was carried out as part of a special operation conducted under Shin Bet intelligence guidance. According to a statement by the police and the IDF, the man had been sought for arrest since his activity in the "Lion's Den" terrorist organization, which was thwarted by security forces in 2022.
Authorities reported that throughout this period, the suspect worked to promote terrorist activity and attempted to carry out attacks against Israeli citizens.
YAMAM fighters prepared for the arrest based on intelligence, arrived covertly at the suspect's home, and apprehended him by surprise. There were no casualties among the forces.
