Olympiacos secured a hard-fought 81-73 away victory against Besiktas in Istanbul during the eighth round of the EuroLeague, improving its record to 6-2 despite playing with a heavily depleted roster. The Greek powerhouse travelled without Nikola Milutinov, Evan Fournier, Tyler Dorsey, and Jean Montero, yet managed to dominate the opening minutes with a 15-0 run.

Besiktas gradually clawed its way back into the contest, staging a dramatic turnaround in the final quarter to claim a 68-67 lead with just minutes remaining on the clock. However, Olympiacos responded with a decisive 12-0 surge to seal the win.

Sasha Vezenkov led the victors with 16 points, while Tyrique Jones and Donte Hall added 15 and 14 points respectively, effectively compensating for Milutinov's absence in the paint. Tyson Ward chipped in with 13 points.

For Besiktas, which dropped to a 3-5 record, Jalen Nowell scored a team-high 15 points. David DeJulius contributed 12 points and Conor Morgan had 11, while Scottie Wilbekin was restricted to just five points.
