Olam Ha-Kolnoa ve-Ha-Hashmal launches parallel imports of Kenwood and De'Longhi appliances, offering price cuts of up to 41% across 28 models.

The electrical appliance retail chain Olam Ha-Kolnoa ve-Ha-Hashmal is expanding its kitchen appliance portfolio by launching parallel imports of two globally recognized brands: Kenwood and De’Longhi. As part of this strategic move, the chain will offer 28 models, including 17 De’Longhi coffee machine models and 11 Kenwood mixer models.
Significant Price Gaps in Parallel Imports
According to pricing data released by the chain, several models exhibit substantial price differences compared to official import channels, with the highest price gap reaching approximately 41%. For instance, the De’Longhi EC260.W manual coffee machine will be sold for 499 NIS, compared to 850 NIS through official imports—representing a 41% savings.
Price discrepancies are similarly evident in the mixer category. The Kenwood KPL9000S mixer will be priced at 1,499 NIS, compared to 2,290 NIS officially, a gap of roughly 35%. Additionally, the Kenwood KMX751ACR model will retail for 899 NIS, down from 1,150 NIS under official distribution, marking a 22% difference. In the coffee segment, the automatic De’Longhi ECAM12 machine will cost 1,590 NIS instead of 1,990 NIS, showing a 20% price reduction.
Retail Expansion and Strategy
For Olam Ha-Kolnoa ve-Ha-Hashmal, this initiative broadens its small home appliance category alongside its established electronics and major appliance offerings. The retailer currently operates over 20 branches nationwide in addition to its e-commerce platform. Beyond kitchen appliances, the chain markets electronics, computing, mobile devices, gadgets, and home theater systems featuring brands such as Samsung, LG, Bosch, Sharp, Dyson, and Ninja.
"Parallel importing allows us to expand our product offerings and explore new categories where significant price gaps exist between import channels. For Kenwood and De’Longhi, these are well-established kitchen brands, making parallel imports the ideal model for their introduction," said Daniel Bar Sadeh, CEO of Olam Ha-Kolnoa ve-Ha-Hashmal.
The expansion reflects the growing impact of parallel importing within the Israeli appliance sector, providing consumers with alternative purchasing channels and heightened price transparency.
