Official: Niv Eliasi loaned to Levadiakos
The 22-year-old goalkeeper for Hapoel Be'er Sheva has signed a loan contract with the Greek league team. The agreement between the clubs includes a purchase option of 1.25 million euros.
Niv Eliasi has left the Israeli Premier League for his first career experience on loan overseas. The deal for the Hapoel Be'er Sheva goalkeeper to move to the Greek club Levadiakos was finalized after he officially signed the contract today, Sunday. Eliasi joins the Greek club on a loan deal for the upcoming season, during which his salary will be $250,000. As part of the negotiations, the management of Hapoel Be'er Sheva and the Greek side reached an agreement that Levadiakos will have a purchase option of 1.25 million euros at the end of the loan period. Last season, Eliasi stood in goal for most of Hapoel Be'er Sheva's matches, but lost his place between the posts to Ofir Marciano in the final stages of the season. Following the decision by the Negev club to send him out on loan to gain significant playing time, the goalkeeper examined several options overseas and has now chosen the Greek destination, where he will play alongside Hisham Layous.
