Official: Maccabi Tel Aviv announces the sale of Henry Addo to the Portuguese league

The 'Yellows' have reached an agreement with Tondela for the transfer of the 23-year-old Ghanaian attacker, who departs after two seasons. Meanwhile, right-back Noam Schwartz (20) has been loaned from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Hapoel Ramat Gan.

Maccabi Tel Aviv officially announced today, Wednesday, that it has reached an agreement with the Portuguese club Tondela for the transfer of attacker Henry Addo. The 23-year-old Ghanaian will begin a new chapter in his career in the Portuguese second division. Addo, who joined the 'Yellows' in February 2024 from the Slovakian club Zilina, recorded 31 appearances for Maccabi Tel Aviv in all competitions, scoring three goals. He spent the past season on loan at OFK Belgrade, where he scored two goals in 16 appearances.

Meanwhile, another player temporarily parting ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv is Noam Schwartz. The 20-year-old right-back has signed with Hapoel Ramat Gan of the National League, joining on loan for the 2026/27 season. Schwartz played last season for Hapoel Kfar Shalem, recording 33 appearances in the second division, and is currently a member of the Israel U21 national team squad for the European Championship qualifiers.
