The Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv basketball club, owned by businessman Ofer Yanai, and the airline Arkia are deepening their partnership, which began two years ago during the EuroCup. On Wednesday, the parties announced the continuation of their collaboration for a third year and the signing of a new, extensive agreement ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Under the terms of the agreement, Arkia will serve as the club's official carrier, transporting players and team staff to various EuroLeague and Winner League matches.

The deal also includes sponsorship provisions. The Arkia logo will be featured on the back of players' jerseys during Israeli league games, as well as on LED screens at all of the team's home games in Israel and at EuroLeague matches.

Oz Berlovich, CEO of Arkia, stated:

"We are proud to continue the cooperation with Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv for the third consecutive season. Over the past two years, an excellent partnership has been built between us, based on trust, professionalism, and shared values. I want to thank the club's CEO, Tzahi Reichenstein, for the close cooperation and the shared path. We wish the team great success in the upcoming season, in Israel and in Europe."

Tzahi Reichenstein, CEO of Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv, added:

"We are happy and proud to continue the cooperation with Arkia in the upcoming season. The extension of the agreement is an expression of the mutual belief in our path and the shared aspiration to continue to grow and achieve accomplishments. We are confident that in the coming year as well, we will continue to work together successfully, and provide the players, the professional staff, and the Hapoel fans with the best support. I would like to thank the management of Arkia for the trust and look forward to continued fruitful and successful cooperation."
