Odia Pinto has been one of Israel's most successful influencers for years, but recent months marked a massive career leap when she and her husband Elior participated in the reality show Power Couple. Despite navigating various storms and conflicts on set, Pinto views the experience overwhelmingly positive.
"I gained greater exposure, more views, and incredible love from the public," she shares. "While my audience used to be primarily from the periphery, today it spans the entire country. It is wonderful." Born into a devout Haredi family in Nahariya as the youngest of six children, Pinto chose to leave the ultra-Orthodox lifestyle at age 16. Today, her relationship with her parents is remarkably close, though she maintains a traditional lifestyle and observes Shabbat. Before marrying Elior, the couple signed a prenuptial agreement, keeping separate bank accounts—a decision she strongly advocates for.
"I see what happens around me with women who do not work and depend on their husbands from morning till night. My mother always taught me to be independent and never rely entirely on a man."
Handling Trolls and Building Success
Pinto’s direct and unapologetic style has earned her immense popularity alongside vocal critics. Rather than letting harsh online comments deter her, she turns negativity into business sense. "Every nasty comment puts another ten shekels into my bank account," she remarks. Recently, she even purchased a home entirely from her own independent earnings.
Looking forward, Pinto remains focused on expanding her career, nurturing her marriage, and looking toward the future on her own terms, proving that authenticity and resilience are the true keys to modern digital influence.
