Internet personality Odia Pinto, currently starring in the TV show "Power Couple" on Channel 13, has opened up about her and her husband Elior's dream of becoming parents for the first time.
"I am dying to be a mom. We are dying to be parents. I am dying for a little Elior," the Israeli star shared.
The young couple frequently makes headlines, sparking debate with their candid statements. Recently, Odia Pinto's husband caused a stir after admitting he experienced culture shock following a close encounter with the LGBT community. The confession came as Odia shared a personal story with the show's participants: "I have gay friends, and a month ago, I attended a gay wedding officiated by a Reform rabbi for the first time."
Elior added:
"It was the first time I had seen such a thing. There was a chuppah, and I turned my head away a bit. I didn't know what a gay person was. I wasn't familiar with this lifestyle; I had never seen it before, and I didn't have any close friends from that community."
Dror Klir, star of the TV show "Big Brother", reacted to Elior's controversial statement in a social media video:
"I'm a bit in shock. I saw the promo with Odia and her husband... what world does he live in? What does it mean he doesn't know gay people? Does he not watch TV? It's 2026, and he doesn't know what a gay person is? It sounds puzzling, even strange. Is he that disconnected from reality?"
