Nvidia launches center in Kfar Saba, highlighting expansion into smaller locations

Rani Zim has announced the signing of a hosting agreement at a data center for an international company with a capacity of up to 4 MW, which will allow its partnership with Kardan-Geva, "Serverz," to generate 8–18 million shekels per year.

It has come to the attention of Globes that this company is none other than Nvidia, which appears to be searching for and leasing every available space remaining in large-scale data centers across Israel. It should be noted that the vast majority of data centers planned in Israel are still in the stages of planning, approval, or construction, and very few have been built to strict Tier 3 or Tier 4 standards. In the background, the Electricity Authority has halted the granting of new permits for connecting data centers to the national power grid, creating panic within the industry.

The Serverz data center, owned by Kardan-Geva and Rani Zim, was launched in 2025 in the industrial zone of Kfar Saba with an electrical capacity of 20 MW; its clients include HPE. The company now plans to increase its operations to 200 MW and is awaiting approvals from the Electricity Authority.

As far as is known, this is Nvidia's first AI processing activity in Kfar Saba, as it has operated mainly in the north until now: it holds the "Israel-1" data center at the Mellanox campus in Yokneam, a facility in nearby Mevo Carmel, where it is building another center, and recently expanded operations in Rishon LeZion at a site belonging to the server company EdgeConnex. At the same time, Nvidia maintains development centers in nearby Ra'anana, as well as in Yokneam, Tel Aviv, Beersheba, and Tel Hai.
