North Korea Unveils Mass-Produced Attack Drones Resembling Israeli Models

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un recently visited defense industry facilities, inspecting a mass production line of attack drones that visibly resemble Israeli and American military technology. State media published photographs showing at least three types of unmanned aerial vehicles, including a loitering munition bearing striking similarities to Israel Aerospace Industries' Harop drone.
During his inspection, Kim ordered the expanded integration of artificial intelligence into weapon systems and called for the modernization of the artillery corps. State media reported that the leader emphasized the need for automated capabilities and enhanced combat readiness.
The public display follows previous disclosures regarding North Korea's drone development program. In late 2024, the regime initiated mass production of suicide drones, designating them as a core element of modern military strategy alongside tactical systems tested through 2025.
