Noa Kirel should know: Roberto's big project is closed
Less than a year after its high-profile launch, which was accompanied by a docu-series, the intriguing musical project of the well-known agent is officially disbanded, and the band members are going their separate ways.
According to a first report by the ForReal website, less than a year after bursting into the public consciousness, the girl group I Butterfly is reaching the end of its joint journey. The ambitious project, led by talent agent Roberto Ben Shoshan, has been officially discontinued, and the band members, Mika Veltman, Lian Biran, Noya Schram, and Emilia Ben Atar, have parted ways and are now pursuing independent paths.
The band was launched in October 2025, with its formation stages and behind-the-scenes drama documented in a docu-reality series on HOT Entertainment. However, the road to the top was not simple, and the main catalyst for the current breakup was Noya Schram's recent departure from the group.
In addition, the band experienced a media storm early in its journey. Last November, the network was in an uproar following a clip from their debut music video, in which a building was seen going up in flames. The scene sparked a wave of anti-Israel hate comments on the X platform, which included harsh attacks and insults directed at the band members.
Users accused the band members that their clip looked like a parody or a sketch and that the closing segment, in which a building is seen on fire, corresponds to Israel's activities in the Gaza Strip and the treatment of Palestinians:
"Is the explosion a school or a hospital explosion?" was written in one of the comments, while another claimed: "This song carries so much dark and evil energy that only Israelis can give."
Now, after the storms and changes in the lineup, the musical project is coming to an end, and the members are continuing from here separately.
