Nicole Scherzinger suffered severe leg burns from boiling water just before a concert in Germany, pushing through the pain to perform on the PCD Forever Tour.
Nicole Scherzinger suffered a painful leg burn just an hour before taking the stage at the PSD Bank Dome in Dusseldorf, Germany, according to her Instagram story. The 48-year-old star shared a graphic photo of severe burns and blisters after boiling water accidentally spilled on her leg.
There is nothing like boiling water falling on your leg an hour before the set, but the show must go on, Scherzinger wrote, thanking the Dusseldorf audience for their support during the PCD Forever Tour alongside bandmates Kimberly Wyatt and Ashley Roberts.
The reunion tour follows Scherzinger's recent Tony Award win for her role as Norma Desmond in Sunset Blvd. on Broadway. However, the period has not been without hurdles; the group canceled the North American leg of their tour in May due to low ticket sales.
Additionally, the reunion caused friction after original members Jessica Sutta and Israeli-born Carmit Bachar reportedly found out about the comeback via social media. Bachar later shared posts from fans angered by her exclusion, noting that her departure from the group in 2008 was also not her choice.
