Netanyahu opened his remarks by referencing operations in the West Bank, noting that a thousand terrorist attacks have been thwarted. In Judea and Samaria there were a thousand thwartings, meaning a thousand attempts to murder our people, and phenomenal successes, he said. These successes are thanks to your work and joint efforts with the IDF and all security branches.

Operations in the Gaza Strip

Turning to the Gaza Strip, the Prime Minister described a situation contrary to initial expectations. In the Gaza Strip we are witnessing a phenomenon that I think surprises everyone, he noted. We entered Gaza, we are gripping Hamas, and the complete opposite is happening to the notion that Hamas would now be protected and immune.

Regional Threats and Iran
