Netanyahu Eyes Yaakov Bardugo for Media Post in Next Government

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in closed-door conversations that if he forms the next government, he intends to appoint his close associate Yaakov Bardugo to a media-related position, according to a report by Michael Hauser Tov in Haaretz.

According to Likud sources cited in the report, Netanyahu noted that he wants an "assertive person for the position who will succeed in leading reforms in the communications market."

Bardugo, a former commentator on Channel 14, was recently reserved the 11th spot on the Likud list, prompting him to leave his position at the channel's studios. Commenting on the move, Bardugo explained that the decision was made following a request from Netanyahu.
