November brings a significant cash flow update for hundreds of thousands of Israeli households relying on National Insurance Institute payments. Alongside routine reporting and payment dates, this month's highlight is a decision to advance the largest allowance payment by two days, allowing numerous eligible citizens to receive their funds ahead of the final weekend of the month.

To organize the expected income, here is the complete guide to all payment dates, reporting schedules, and average amounts for National Insurance benefits in November:

November 12: Employment and Subsistence Allowances

The first batch of the month is designated for populations requiring immediate social safety nets for living expenses and employment support:

  • Unemployment benefits: Monthly payments for workers who lost their source of livelihood and accumulated the required qualifying period. The allowance is calculated differentially based on age and determining salary, reaching a maximum ceiling of 13,769 NIS gross per month.

  • Income support and supplementation: Grants paid to individuals and families whose income level falls below the statutory basic subsistence threshold, or to those unable to join the workforce due to various reasons. Amounts range from several thousand shekels depending on family status, age, and dependents.

November 15: Employers and Self-Employed Reporting Deadline

This date is dedicated to National Insurance collections. Employers, self-employed workers, and non-working insured individuals must settle their reports and transfer salary slips and payments for October regarding national insurance and health insurance contributions. Meeting this deadline prevents the accumulation of fines and indexation links while ensuring the continuity of employees' insurance rights.

November 20: Child Allowances and Savings Plan

On this date, payments designated for families with children will be disbursed:

  • Child allowance: A direct payment to the mother's bank account, standing at approximately 173 NIS for the first child in the family, and about 219 NIS for each child from the second through the fourth.

  • Savings for Every Child program: Concurrently with the allowance, the state deposits approximately 57 NIS per month for each child directly into a provident fund or dedicated bank savings plan chosen by the parents, with the option for parents to double this amount from the child allowance.

November 26: The Main Payment Advanced by Two Days

The National Insurance's largest payment batch, consolidating billions of shekels, is shifted this month. According to law, the fixed date for long-term allowances is the 28th of every month. However, since November 28 falls on a Saturday and the interbank clearing system is closed, the transfer has been advanced to Thursday, November 26.

This batch includes the following allowances:

  • Disability allowances: Full general disability allowance (currently standing at about 4,711 NIS per month for an individual with an incapacity degree of 75% or higher, prior to dependent supplements), special services grants (Sheram) for those facing daily functional difficulties, and disabled child benefits.

  • Old-age and survivor pensions: Basic old-age pension for an individual stands at about 1,838 NIS per month, reaching up to approximately 2,757 NIS per month with maximum seniority accumulation, alongside survivor pensions for widows, widowers, and orphans.

  • Additional grants: Work injury benefits, alimony recipients, mobility allowance recipients, nursing care benefits, and Prisoners of Zion.

The payments will be transferred directly to beneficiaries' bank accounts. It is recommended to check bank applications on the morning of the payment day to ensure proper crediting. In case of delay or discrepancy, the payment status can be verified through the personal area on the National Insurance website or via the call center.
