Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett arrived this morning (Wednesday) at an enlistment event for the August cohort of the Artillery Corps at Ariel Sharon Park. Bennett refrained from commenting and chose to completely ignore the presence of the Channel 14 crew and reporter Oranit Poran-Suissa at the scene.

The broadcast team reported that attempts to approach Bennett, speak with him, and receive even a general comment on the significance of the event were met with complete disregard.

In a live broadcast from the field, Channel 14 reporter Oranit Poran-Suissa described the situation: "The truth is that Naftali Bennett arrived here a short while ago. We tried to approach him to get some kind of comment on the significance of his visit here, but he chose not to respond. It is possible that he is boycotting us. There is a chance that Naftali Bennett, who wants to run for a 'government for everyone,' is boycotting or ignoring us. It does not fit his campaign right now."

Later in the report, the journalist emphasized that the disregard was absolute throughout all attempts to make contact, noting that from Bennett's perspective "Channel 14 does not exist," a fact that did not surprise anyone present at the scene.
