Naftali Bennett, chairman of the Beyachad party, who is running in the upcoming elections in the hope of returning to serve as Prime Minister of Israel, took a hard line today (Tuesday) against the food company Tnuva.

In a video uploaded by Bennett, he addressed the Chinese company Bright Food, which acquired Tnuva: "Listen, Bright Food, your party is over. You will no longer be able to exploit Tnuva employees and the public in Israel."

Bennett further explained his plan: "You will no longer be able to hold monopolies in milk, meat, or frozen vegetables. You will have to choose one category. We will create competition, and then prices will drop by at least 30%."

In conclusion, the former Prime Minister pledged that under his leadership, there would no longer be monopolies that hold other monopolies. "The Israeli public is no longer a sucker, so get ready — there is a new agreement in the economy. Together, we will lower the cost of living."

As previously noted, Liran Avishar Ben-Horin, Bennett's economic project manager, recently promised that the party would begin fighting and dismantling the monopolies of food giants in Israel, and today marked the first step with Bennett's pledge to dismantle the Tnuva monopoly.
