The Ministry of Health has issued an urgent public warning regarding the purchase and use of injectable cosmetic products following the theft of thousands of packages from the warehouses of Alpha Medix and Omgan Medix Ltd. a month ago. Authorities fear the stolen materials are currently being marketed illegally to aesthetic clinics, beauty salons, and private physicians across the country.

The primary concern centers on the compromised storage conditions of the products, which require strict temperature control and specialized transport. The Ministry emphasizes that the safety and integrity of these injectables can no longer be guaranteed, posing significant health risks to patients who receive treatments from unauthorized and unregulated sources.

The stolen inventory includes prominent aesthetic brands such as Radiesse and Stylage, specifically featuring lines like Radiesse, Stylage Special Lips Lido, Stylage XL Lido, Stylage L, Stylage M Lido, Stylage L Lido, and Stylage XXL Mepi.

Dr. Lehavit Akerman, a dermatology specialist, warned that facial injectables must be stored under precise conditions to prevent severe infections and other health hazards. She noted a recent rise in fraudulent sales of illicitly distributed materials and urged patients to ensure that treatments are performed exclusively by certified medical experts using authorized facilities.

In response to the incident, the Ministry of Health advises medical professionals in the aesthetics sector to procure products solely from licensed suppliers. Patients are similarly encouraged to verify the origin of the materials prior to undergoing any procedure. Anyone encountering suspicious products, unknown sources, or experiencing adverse side effects is urged to contact the Ministry's hotline at *5400.
