Michpal Technologies continues acquisition spree: 56 million shekel deal
The Michpal Technologies group is expanding into fintech and digital payments by acquiring a 70% stake in Interspace Tranzila, a leading provider of credit card processing and cloud infrastructure services.

Michpal Technologies, part of the Formula group, which specializes in payroll and HR software, has announced its expansion into the fintech sector. The company has signed an agreement to acquire a 70% stake in Interspace Tranzila for approximately 56 million shekels. This marks the company's second strategic acquisition in recent days, following the purchase of a controlling stake in Makano.
The deal includes a contingent consideration mechanism based on Interspace Tranzila's 2026 performance, as well as mutual options for the purchase of the remaining 30% stake in the future. The transaction is subject to approval by the Competition Commissioner.
Interspace Tranzila is a leading private Israeli firm operating in digital payments and fintech, providing infrastructure for credit card processing, web hosting, cloud computing, and domain registration.
Additionally, the company develops a technological platform for digital payments under the "Tranzila Paytech" brand, which includes online and in-store processing, EMV terminals, payment pages, cloud-based cash registers, and digital wallet connectivity.
Interspace Tranzila serves thousands of small and medium-sized businesses alongside major local organizations. In 2025, the company recorded revenues of approximately 31 million shekels and an adjusted operating profit of approximately 8.7 million shekels, compared to 27 million and 5.8 million shekels respectively in 2024.
"The acquisition of Interspace Tranzila is a significant milestone in expanding Michpal Technologies' operations into fintech. This deal, alongside our recent acquisition of Makano, is a key step in our strategy to build a broad and integrated technological platform for businesses," stated Tami Ohana-Kol, CEO of Michpal Technologies.
Ohana-Kol noted that the partnership allows for an expanded portfolio: "Interspace Tranzila brings advanced technology and significant synergy potential, which will create new growth engines for Michpal in the coming years."
Itzik Nosutzki, founder of Interspace Tranzila, added:
"After nearly 30 years of building this company, I am very happy about the partnership with the Michpal group. I am confident that combining our efforts with the power of Michpal and the Formula group will open new opportunities. I remain a significant partner and believe strongly in our future."
