Michal Ansky struggles to accept the dramatic elimination: "I have nothing to say. Nothing is okay"

This was perhaps the most emotional task of the season so far on MasterChef, as the contestants were asked to prepare a gourmet dish from leftovers, and through it, tell their personal story and memory. At the end of a close and tense task, it was Nissim Zlayet who ended his journey in the competition. The one who reached fourth place in the 11th season leaves the kitchen in fifth place this time, after preparing a meat kubbeh dish that was good in flavor but did not meet the leftovers task according to the judges.

Along the way, Zlayet impressed the judges with the tremendous progress he has made since the previous season. The salmon dish he prepared in one of the tasks received a perfect score and an extraordinary compliment from Yuval Ben Neriah as it was one of the best dishes he had ever eaten.

"I feel close to you, the salmon dish you prepared was the best I have ever had. You can break any barrier and boundary," Ben Neriah said in farewell.

Michal added: "I don't believe I am saying these words, I have nothing to say. Nothing is okay." Eyal Shani and Avi Biton also said goodbye and claimed that it was a great loss for the program.

"A huge thank you for the opportunity. When you start working in cafe shifts, reserve duty, you lose the fire. You brought it back to me, I thank you and am happy with the place I reached and where I am now," Zlayet said in farewell. "The victory in the end is how deeply you managed to touch people, how deeply you managed to touch yourself. I left deep traces, I heard sentences worth being born for. I wanted to be in first place and it's disappointing, I say it fully. In the end, I am happy."
