Preparation for the 2026/27 Premier League season continues as Ironi Tiberias hosts Ironi Kiryat Shmona in the third round of the Toto Cup. For the northerners, this is the second round as they were free in the first, while the Tiberians have managed to focus on football despite the IV drip affair hovering over the club.

Shay Barda's group was impressive last Tuesday, beating Maccabi Haifa 3:0 with a tremendous first half. Conversely, Tiberias is in a difficult situation off the pitch; beyond numerous suspensions, the IV drip saga seems far from over. Nevertheless, the team has managed to focus on the Toto Cup, having won against Sakhnin (1:2) and losing to Hapoel Haifa (1:3).

Historically, Tiberias has beaten Kiryat Shmona 5 times, against 4 wins for the northerners, with two draws.
