As announced by US President Donald Trump, if the details are accurate, we are witnessing a surrender by Hamas. This represents a historic achievement: full demilitarization, including all light and heavy weapons and tunnels, as well as the end of Hamas rule in the Gaza Strip and its withdrawal from any governance. Within the coming weeks, Hamas is expected to begin handing over its weapons.

If the details published by Nickolay Mladenov are implemented, this constitutes a significant capitulation by Hamas to the terms of the outline.

According to sources involved in the negotiations, following months of "under-the-radar" talks between Nickolay Mladenov, representatives of the Peace Council, mediators, and Hamas—and against the backdrop of massive military pressure exerted by Israel—the organization has reached a historic decision.

The roadmap for implementing the Donald Trump plan reflects a strategic breakthrough: immediately upon signing, Hamas will cease all military activity.

"Within a few weeks, Hamas will begin handing over its weapons," sources note.

Senior officials emphasize that the plan is not based on trust in Hamas, and every Israeli action is conditional upon a step by Hamas. The agreement includes enforcement mechanisms, and Israel retains the right to return to fighting if Hamas fails to meet its obligations.

The plan proves the effectiveness of the policy led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Hamas has accepted the final proposal from the mediators and committed to handing over all heavy and light weapons, as well as maps of its tunnels.

The weapons will be stored in facilities under the control of the NCAG and ISF, where a decommissioning process will be carried out to ensure they cannot be used again. From that moment, Hamas will lose its primary lever of power. Experts believe that current statements from Hamas are intended to mitigate the sense of public humiliation after accepting terms that require total disarmament.

If completed, this would be an exceptionally rare precedent: a jihadist organization agreeing to surrender its weapons as part of a political and security arrangement.

This is a historic achievement for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and President Donald Trump, who acted in full coordination. A year ago, critics questioned the government's strategy, but today the results demonstrate that it has worked. This is a strategic victory achieved by both leaders for the benefit of Israel.
