"Maybe he is a racist": Trump jabs at LeBron and names Jordan the greatest of all time
The US President was asked about LeBron James' move to Philadelphia and the eternal debate over who is greater, Michael Jordan or LeBron James. Trump did not hesitate to choose the Chicago Bulls legend, adding: "Maybe he is a racist. Maybe he just doesn't like Trump."
During a press conference on Friday, US President Donald Trump was asked about LeBron James' move to Philadelphia, as well as the question that has divided the basketball world for years: who is greater, Michael Jordan or LeBron James? Trump immediately replied that for him there is no dilemma at all: "Michael Jordan." He added, "He is a friend of mine. I play golf with him. He is a really good person." However, he then continued with a personal remark about LeBron: "Maybe he is a racist. Maybe he just doesn't like Trump. I don't know." This is not the first time Trump has attacked James. Over the years, the two have clashed more than once, mainly against the backdrop of sharp criticism from the NBA star toward Trump during his first term. In 2018, Trump mocked LeBron following an interview he gave to CNN, and in 2021 he even called him a "racist" after a tweet by the basketball player regarding the shooting incident of Ma'Khia Bryant.
