Maya Wertheimer, heir to billions: "Money is something that can destroy you"
The daughter of the late billionaire Eitan Wertheimer speaks openly about life alongside family wealth, explains why she insists on working hard, and reveals what kind of financial education she will pass on to her daughter.

Wertheimer, born into a wealthy family, details the financial concept she absorbed in her parents' home: "I grew up in a home where money was a means and not a goal. Money is something that can destroy you and blind your eyes, but you can have a lot of money and do good things with it." From this perception also grows the emphasis she places on female independence: "The fact that women need to be independent and have a career is correct. I will educate my daughter on proper and wise financial conduct, and it is important to make money because it will give her freedom. I want to know that there is money that is mine."
Maya Wertheimer-Zamir (36) is the daughter of the late billionaire Eitan Wertheimer and Ariela, and the granddaughter of the industrialist and businessman Stef Wertheimer. She is married to Asaf Zamir, a former Minister of Tourism, Knesset member, and Consul General of Israel in New York, who currently serves as Deputy and Acting Mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo. The couple resides in Tel Aviv-Yafo, are parents to Asia and Noah Eitan, and recently announced their third pregnancy.
Alongside her family lineage and personal life, Wertheimer has built an extensive and independent career. In the past, she broke into the public consciousness in the youth series 'Alifim', and today she is a host on the 'Reshet 13' channel for the reality and game shows 'New Love' and 'Password'. In addition, she acts in the comedy series 'Yaniv', serves as a presenter for leading brands (including the fashion company 'Fox'), and is considered one of the most powerful social media influencers in Israel, holding hundreds of thousands of followers and sharing openly on topics such as fertility treatments, relationship crises, and the challenges of motherhood.
