Internet personality and actress Maya Wertheimer was a guest on the podcast of Nelly Tagar and Liron Weizman, "HaPodium," where she revealed an interesting detail about her work with a top brand whose products she promotes on social media.

During the conversation, Liron Weizman asked her friend why she engages in marketing specific services or products to consumers. Wertheimer explained that for her, it is a mission driven by a desire to help many Israelis save on monthly expenses and provide added value to consumers.

"The moment I walked in here, at least three people approached me. Among others, people in very senior positions. Each of them told me what product they use and how it fit into their life and how it affected their life. Just like that."

Later, Wertheimer spoke about her sponsored collaboration with a leading diaper brand in Israel and revealed a surprising detail regarding her compensation:

"For example, the diapers, it's not something I earn percentages on. Usually, you earn percentages on sales, but this is not something I earn percentages on. For me, the added value is important. Think for a second about all my friends; from my perspective, they are my target audience."

The influencer further shared that she approached the leading brand with a request to lower the price of the diaper products, arguing that such a move could help thousands of parents in Israel.

"I want you to make it that affordable. I ensure that it is good. By the way, regarding the diapers, I know that the diapers I advertise are the best. The problem is that they are considered premium and are expensive. Not everyone can afford it. I can make them accessible at a price so that so many parents will use the product, from people who approach me at the playground and moms from kindergarten who use this code. The fact that I can use my consumer power to lower the cost of living is amazing in my eyes."
