Maya Buskila on expanding the family: "We are working on it"
The 48-year-old singer shared candidly that she and her husband, who is 18 years her junior, are working on expanding their family and having a child together. She noted that she is not afraid of the process despite her age.

The renowned singer, 48-year-old Maya Buskila, has never hesitated to break conventions and go against the grain. About two years ago, she married 30-year-old Shauli Shluim, who is 18 years her junior, and now, in a particularly revealing interview, she shares her plans for the future. During a talk show at the Galatz studio, Buskila opened up about her relationship with her husband, revealing that they are currently working on expanding their family and having a child together. For Buskila, this is a deeply meaningful third marriage, while her eldest son, Lenny, is soon turning 14.
"I have friends who have already done it," she added, emphasizing that for her, age is just a number. "For example, Lea Schnirer, who had twins at 50, and a friend of mine who had a sweet baby at 48 and another lovely girl at 49. If you get the right treatment, it happens," she noted, adding that it is never too late. Buskila explained how important it is for her to discuss the subject openly to empower other women: "I think this is one of the most important things to share, because there are many women who are being discouraged and told it's impossible," she emphasized.
