West Ham has submitted a new offer to Tottenham for Manor Solomon in the amount of 8 million pounds, with the total value of the deal potentially increasing significantly through performance-based bonuses to 12-14 million pounds.
As recalled, the original demand from the Spurs stood at 20 million pounds, a figure that the London club, relegated last season from the Premier League to the Championship, firmly refused to pay.
Tottenham will not be able to stop the move
The first offer from the Hammers was 5 million pounds plus add-ons, but it was rejected outright. At this stage, as reported in "HaYom", Solomon decided to exert pressure alongside his agents, Pini Zahavi and Shlomi Ben Ezra, to get the deal done.
In England, it is estimated that Tottenham will not be able to stop the Israel national team midfielder from moving to one of its city rivals, especially given the fact that under Roberto De Zerbi he would not be as significant a cog as Nuno Espirito Santo intends for him.
Salary will not be a problem
It is expected that it will take a few more days until both clubs reach agreements on all the various bonus clauses, which could jump the amounts significantly.
