Maggie Tabibi Returns to Her Roots: Unexpected Footage Shared by the Channel 14 Host
Maggie Tabibi, a reporter for Channel 14, shared a video from the pool on social media. The footage reminded followers of her professional athletic past, which she first discussed during her time on the reality show 'Big Brother'.

Maggie Tabibi, a reporter for Channel 14 and a former contestant on the reality show 'Big Brother', uploaded a video to her Instagram account today in which she is seen swimming in a pool, equipped with a swimming cap and goggles. The post sparked interest among her followers and brought back to the forefront the athletic past she spoke about at the beginning of her television career.
As recalled, in her introductory profile on 'Big Brother', Tabibi revealed that she had been a professional swimmer since the age of five. According to her, she won the Israeli championship and even participated in the world championship, having grown up in a home that encouraged excellence and achievement from a young age.
Tabibi said at the time that her training routine was particularly intense. Even as a child, she used to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get to training, and continued to train throughout the year, regardless of the season or the weather. She admitted that she found it difficult to cut herself any slack, something that accompanied her throughout her athletic career.
According to her, the full commitment to the sport meant that she missed out on quite a few experiences characteristic of adolescence. While her friends spent time at social events and gatherings, she dedicated most of her time to training and competitions.
She also said in the past that her competitive nature stays with her to this day, but over the years she realized that the pursuit of achievements also had a personal cost. According to her, the uncompromising investment in sports affected the relationships in her life, and only in retrospect did she realize how much she had to give up on personal aspects for the sake of her career.

The new footage from the pool reminded many of this significant chapter in Tabibi's life, long before she became a familiar face on television and in the news world. Today she works in communications, but it seems that the connection to the pool and the sport of swimming still remains an inseparable part of her.
