Meanwhile, reports in France indicate that ASVEL's intended backup center, Mathis Dossou-Yovo, will continue to miss action and will not feature against the yellow-and-blue side. Estimates suggest he will remain sidelined for several more weeks. The 26-year-old arrived this summer from Nanterre after averaging 17 points and 7 rebounds per game, but has battled numerous injuries.
ASVEL is also dealing with fitness concerns regarding several players who missed the weekend preseason defeat to Roanne, including South Sudanese forward Buol Gatkuoth, former Hapoel Holon player Nate Sestina, and Miles Cale, who played last season for Barcelona. As of now, no official update has been provided regarding their status for tomorrow's match (21:45).
In the absence of Dossou-Yovo, ASVEL will rely on Ukrainian center Joel Bolomboy under the baskets, backed up by young big man Bodian Massa (2.10m).
