The Voice Israel Winner Lina Makhloul Joins Macklemore Tour
Former The Voice Israel winner Lina Makhloul performed at a Dublin concert organized by Macklemore, raising funds for pro-Palestinian groups.
Singer Lina Makhloul, a former winner of the Israeli edition of The Voice, has performed at a controversial concert in Dublin organized by American rapper Macklemore as part of the Free Palestine Tour.
Makhloul, who captured the hearts of Israeli audiences 13 years ago by taking first place in the reality singing competition, appeared on stage as a special guest at the event filled with Palestinian flags and anti-Israel demonstrations. The concert aimed to raise funds for pro-Palestinian relief organizations, including UNRWA and Jewish Voice for Peace.
Macklemore returned to the spotlight following widespread backlash that previously saw him dropped from Ed Sheeran's tour due to his outspoken political stances. Earlier in the week, the rapper also performed at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado, where he reiterated calls for Palestinian liberation and criticized US immigration authorities.
