At the age of 40, Limor Dagan from Jerusalem faced a severe battle with cancer that led to a series of complex emergency surgeries and a life-altering near-death experience. During one of the critical procedures, she experienced an out-of-body phenomenon, watching herself being wheeled into the operating room while her entire life flashed before her eyes.

The Critical Medical Crisis and Out-of-Body Experience

Limor recalls that following her initial surgery, severe medical complications arose, forcing her through a grueling cycle of emergency procedures. "You do not see a point of light, it just keeps getting worse. Another surgery and another surgery," she describes. At one point, a severe infection was discovered in her abdomen, leaving doctors with the difficult choice of whether to operate again despite her fragile condition.

"I feel as if I am leaving my body. I watch how they are leading me to the operating room, and suddenly I do not feel the body, I do not feel pain," Limor shares, recounting the moment her life changed.

As she hovered above, images from various stages of her life—from childhood and youth to the home where she grew up—began to unfold. It was during this profound moment that a deep sense of missed opportunity washed over her.

Spiritual Awakening and Personal Transformation

Confronted with the feeling that she had not fulfilled her true mission or shared her unique gifts with the world, she made a silent promise to the Creator: if granted a second chance at life, she would abandon fear and embrace faith.

After returning home and beginning her long physical recovery, Limor embarked on a deep spiritual journey. Alongside medical treatments, she began studying mind-body therapies and later completed a master's degree in spiritual accompaniment. Today, she works as a coach and mentor, guiding women and leading workshops for cancer survivors.

One of the most powerful insights she carries from her near-death experience is the absolute necessity of living in the present. "You only have this day and only this moment. To love, to act, to give. There is no other time," she emphasizes.
