IDF Eliminates Nukhba Commander in Khan Yunis Involved in October 7 Massacre

Forces on the ground continue to target the planners and perpetrators of the massacre. On Monday, an Israeli Air Force strike in the Khan Yunis area eliminated Muhammad Khalil Muhammad Aslam, a Nukhba platoon commander in the Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist organization. The strike was carried out following intelligence that the terrorist posed an immediate threat.

Commanded the kidnapping of civilians and continued to plan attacks

During the October 7 massacre, Aslam directly commanded a squad of terrorists that participated in the abduction of Israeli civilians into the Gaza Strip. He had been a primary target for security forces since the outbreak of the war due to his direct role in harming Israeli citizens.

Aslam remained active, continuing to promote terror plots against IDF forces and Israeli civilians until he was eliminated from the air before he could carry out further attacks.

The IDF stated that determined operations in the area will continue as long as necessary to neutralize any danger. The IDF Spokesperson noted: "IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat."
