Dramatic semi-final elimination: A standout contestant leaves the show
One of the season's favorites has been eliminated just steps away from the grand finale. Tsahi Halevi shared an emotional farewell, thanking his family and dance partner.

The impressive journey of Tsahi Halevi in the competition has come to a painful end. Just days before the anticipated finale on September 2, the actor and singer, along with his dance partner Nina Sol, learned they would not be competing for the trophy. This dramatic semi-final decision left one of the season's most prominent contestants out of the final four.
Throughout the competition, Halevi demonstrated remarkable consistency, leading many to consider him a top contender for the win. However, the tide turned just before the final stretch. The departure of Halevi and Sol finalized the lineup of the four couples who will compete for the title.
After Lucy Ayoub announced the results, Halevi took the microphone to share his thoughts on the experience. He dedicated his first words of gratitude to his wife, Lucy Aharish, and his sons:
"First of all, I want to say the biggest thank you to the love of my life, Lucy — for the push, the encouragement, the acceptance, and the patience. And of course, also to my sons, Adam and Dean."
He then turned his attention to Nina Sol, who had been by his side throughout the weeks of rehearsals:
"A second and huge thank you to the champion, Nina. It is not for nothing that people say it is not just a dance — she is an artist in every fiber of her being. You are art, and it was such a joy to go through this journey with you. Thank you for the learning, the acceptance, and the ability to create art. There is no one like you; you are truly number one."
Halevi also acknowledged the judges, noting that he had taken their feedback to heart:
"To the respected panel of judges — thank you very much for every piece of criticism. I took it to heart, I internalized it, and it was a crazy journey."
He concluded by thanking the production staff and the viewers at home. With this, the path of one of the season's most consistent performers has ended, as the final four prepare for the ultimate battle.
