On Partner TV: "33 Days" (Thirty Three Days)
A new six-episode Spanish crime miniseries is based on the true story of the escape of two prisoners from Ponent prison in Lleida in 2001. The two planned the escape for months, and when it was carried out, they began a flight that lasted 33 days and put the Mossos d'Esquadra to a public test at a time when the Catalan police force was still young. The series, which aired in Spain in June of this year, moves between the fugitives and the police officers trying to close in on them, while examining the dependent relationship between the two prisoners, which becomes crucial as the original plan falls apart and their options narrow.
