Hapoel Haifa Defeats Ironi Tiberias 3:1
The Reds from the Carmel secured a convincing 3:1 victory in the Toto Cup. A brace from Alon Turgeman and a goal by Vehiv Habiballaha sealed the three points for the hosts.

Hapoel Haifa continues its strong start to the season at Sammy Ofer Stadium. On Tuesday, in the second round of the Toto Cup, the Reds from the Carmel secured a convincing 3:1 victory over Ironi Tiberias. The win for Chaim Silves’ side was driven by an early goal from Alon Turgeman, his second strike in the middle of the first half, and a late goal from Vehiv Habiballaha.
The match began with intense pressure from the hosts. In the 8th minute, a corner kick by Sali Fahima found Alon Turgeman, who finished with a clinical strike into the net. Although Kais Ganam equalized for Tiberias in the 30th minute following a defensive lapse, Hapoel quickly regained the lead. In the 33rd minute, Dor Malul made a surging run down the flank and delivered a precise cross to Turgeman, who completed his brace. The final result was sealed in the 76th minute when Vehiv Habiballaha converted a pass from Ariel Mendi.
For Ironi Tiberias, the match highlighted defensive vulnerabilities. Despite efforts to mount a comeback in the second half, the visitors could not match the quality of their opponents. Hapoel Haifa celebrates its second consecutive win, while the Tiberias squad must address its defensive issues ahead of the upcoming clash against Ironi Kiryat Shmona.
