Soldiers of the 8553rd Reserve Battalion at a base in Gush Etzion are suffering from an infestation of bees and wasps. Several soldiers have already been stung.

The insects have begun to penetrate the soldiers' living quarters, forcing them to lock themselves inside the buildings. "There are allergic soldiers here, and the EpiPen injector is not accessible," a female soldier at the base told N12.

According to the soldiers' testimonies, a series of appeals to the company commander and relevant officials in the brigade has not yet led to a solution. The IDF clarifies that the issue is being handled. According to army sources, bee traps were placed in the area at the beginning of the week, but the nest has not yet been located, and the incident remains ongoing.
